A final revision has been passed for the First Time Home Buyer Credit, some of the changes are:
_ Credit equals 10% of the purchase price up to $8,000.00.
- It applies for a purchase of primary residence between January 1, 2009 to December 1, 2009.
- Unlike the previous credit it does not have to be re-paid.
- Single taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 qualify for the full tax credit.
